Show how the same size job can be done in a variety of ways. Discuss critical path. Recognize role of critical path, and that per Schonberger (1981), projects will always be late relative to that flow. Recognize that you are identifying a 'happy path' which must have flexibility built in to it, or will quickly become irrelevant.

The more people are waiting, the less productivity the team has.
