We've got upgrades!
I've spent the weekend putting quite a bit of work into bringing the web site functionality up to where I'm happy with it. I think it's now ready for 'launching' to a broader community. Here is a partial list of the changes I've made:
- Documenting the full set of features of the web site that I've been working to acquire, develop, and integrate over the last few months, including additional ones that are planned for the near term (and still others on my wish list for the more distant future)
- Implemented support for premium content, which will be integrated with existing content over the next few weeks.
- Closed out a number of problem reports and change requests, several of which had been problematic for some time
- Implemented a number of new architectural approaches to web site features, and depracated outdated methods
- Made considerable progress in tuning the performance of the web site
- Implemented a more robust Frequently Asked Questions section of the site.
- Began implementation of a new taxonomy for the web site
- Upgraded the web site with the latest working versions of the underlying software components from the contributing members of the Drupal community.
- Implemented a new look and feel for the site
