What should you be worried about?
What are the greatest risks that we face as a nation over the next hundred years that can be tracked to single events? Risk Management Solutions, the nation’s largest catastrophe modeling firm, spent six months looking at this question and identified 10 events as the worst in terms of exposure to loss of human life and economic value, from an 'insurability' perspective. Despite the headlines associated with the war on terror, we are at much greater risk due to natural disasters (floods, hurricanes, diseases, and earthquakes) than any worst-case scenario envisioned from human causes, even terrorism threats.
Of course, you can also examine a retrospective analysis of your odds of dying, or if you want to review the underlying (potentially preventable) 'root causes', read this. Oh yes, and exercise, eat right, and get plenty of sleep. And don't worry about stuck accelerators.
