Welcome to my site. I use it as my sandbox for playing and interacting with technology, ideas, and information, and honing my skills at communicating and demonstrating this stuff to others. I hope you'll find it useful!

I don't have a dream of building a huge internet presence through this effort, or getting rich from ad revenue, or selling my services. I just get personal satisfaction in explaining principles and experiences I've found useful, and sharing this stuff with my business associates, friends, and broader communities that I interact with. I've also found that communicating these concepts is often difficult "in the abstract", and believe hands-on demonstrations and dynamic examples that put things "in motion", and allow interactions with these concepts, are much more effective than static books and articles.

For me, putting such demonstrations together requires more contemplation and preparation than my work setting and assignments typically allow. By having my own site and content, I can point people I work and play with to things that I am familiar with and have learned from my experience. By keeping it on my own site, I'm also able to develop this material independently, using my own resources, and on my own time, so I'm free to share it with whoever I choose to. All of these ideas are motivated by Tom Peter's recent book, Re-Imagine!, and his chapter on 'Life in a Brand You World'.

At present, the content and functionality on this site is developed primarily by myself, though this material integrates and draws on work from many others. You can participate by joining and adding your own content, or offering feedback on what you find here. I publish things as time permits, and with an eye towards "good enough" quality, rather than perfection. As a result, you'll find that the features, ideas, and content which I'm providing are deployed concurrently with their incremental elaboration, rather than being deployed once the information is fully mature. This hopefully demonstrates how such knowledge can be created, improved, and deployed as a series of small victories, integrated over time, and in parallel with efficient deployment. Simply put, it is a work in progress, as all worthwhile adventures, relationships, and great products truly are.
